Novel Writing for Beginners

Have an idea that you’d love to turn into a novel? Or love writing but don’t know how to develop ideas for longer form writing? Led by published author Louise Hare, this writing workshop will explain the basics to kick start your writing journey.

You’ll learn tips and techniques for finding inspiration as well as developing compelling storylines and believable characters. There will be time for writing allocated in the workshop so come ready to be creative at this Richmond Reads event.

Louise Hare is a London-based writer and has an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck College, University of London. Her debut novel This Lovely City was published by HQ (Harper Collins) in 2020, followed by Miss Aldridge Regrets in 2022, and Harlem After Midnight in 2023.
